erika, the goddess of craft (and loveliness)

unbeknownst to most of you, erika and i are engaged to be married. lucky me! she's designing our wedding outfits, and is planning the perfect wedding - on the mound at Fenway. she is also one of the loveliest people i know.


What are qualities that you think are important in a friend?
- honesty, understanding, the ability to just listen sometimes, someone who gets the bit
What is your favorite thing (or things) about yourself?
my craftiness, for i am mad crafty! i also come up with great group names and song titles
Erika makes me want to be craftier. i would love to be as creative as she!
Tell me about something you are good at.
i can sing quite well and as i said before i'm super crafty. i also make a mean roast chicken.
What is something you wish you were good at?
i wish i could play the piano or guitar really well. i also wish i was good at math and science. oh, and i wish i was a better speller.
What was your first impression of me - and how has your impression of me changed?
- i thought that you were shy. . . HA! now i know! i thought you were the cousin of a friend of mine and now you've become one of my closest friends.
Now you know... are you implying that I'm not shy? But I'm so demure...
If you were trapped in a cell in a dungeon - what 3 people (alive or dead, famous or personal) would you want to be trapped with?
martha stewart, she has experience making cells look nice, johnny cash, he can give me tips on doing time and we can have sing-a-longs, and macgyver, to get us out of that darn'd cell!
Flight? Super-strength? Invisibility? The ability to make a perfect mixed-tape? If you could have one super power, what would it be?
- well, i already make a damn fine mix tape so i guess i'll pick super strength. being strong would be awesome.
I think you're pretty strong already. And I've seen no proof of this mix tape power. By this, I am suggesting you make a mix for me, not on my behalf...
Will the Red Sox win the World Series in 2006? And will my boyfriend Johnny Damon be on the team?
- i'm not much for sports but since so many of my friends are soxfans, i sure hope so! and for johnny, it would be a shame if he wasn't there since he has to be a red sock to be at our wedding.
One of the many reasons why I'm marrying this woman- she suggested that Johnny officiate at the wedding. And doesn't mind if I make out with him a little.
What gives you joy? This can be objects, activities, concepts…
- music, especially great live music, and puppies

If you could be anywhere in the world, where would you want to be?
- right now? hum. . . a well stocked cabin near the middle of nowhere with lots of firewood where i could get my craft on.
That sounds perfect right now! I want to visit.
You are making a doll of me, what materials do you buy?
-to make my cat doll i would need a needle, thread, stuffing, lots of felt, and 2 hearts.
