it's the little things...
i think i'll feel less stressed next week. i hope. it's not so much stress as just this nagging sense that i won't get everything done.
i thought i'd be super efficient and fill out my change of address info on the internet. if you want to change your address through the US Postal Service website, you totally can. they do ask that you provide a credit card number for security reasons. which i though was understandable. but then they tell you that they'll charge your card $1 to change your address. i get that it's only a dollar, but if i walk the 2 blocks to the post office, it's free.
i think the charge is ridiculous! crazytown!
and so i'll be adding a trip to the post office to my to-do list. blech.

I concur. Ridic! When is it ever worth it for someone to pay $1 for that service. I mean - if that dollar guaranteed your mail would actually get forwarded I'd totally pay it but as we know that is not the case. Good luck.
when i went to the post office, and did NOT pay the $1 charge, they told me it would probably be 2 weeks before i receive my mail at the new address. i doubt paying the charge on line would have sped the process up.
